Description
The following is an example of a tenant agreement from the Irish Land Commission. It concerns the purchase of land at Ballymacandrick by Michael Connell from the landlord Walter Joseph de Rupe Thackwell.
Under the terms of the Irish Land Act (1903), the tenant acquired a loan from the Irish Land Commission to the value of £1262. This agreement also indicates the return payment of £3.15.0 per annum to the Irish Land Commission.
